Privacy Policy

AnchorPoint IT (“I”, “me”) is a one-person IT business based in Leavenworth, Kansas. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: I only collect what you choose to send me, I use it to respond to you, and I don't sell it or use it for advertising.

When you submit the consultation form: your name, email address, and — if you provide them — your phone number and organization, plus the service you're interested in and your message.

Along with each form submission: your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and the time of submission. These are used to prevent spam and abuse.

Server logs: like most websites, the server hosting this site may keep standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time, and browser details) for security and troubleshooting.

The free security assessment runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and results are never sent to me or stored anywhere.

This site doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies, and it doesn't set cookies of its own. Fonts are served from this site, not from third parties.

Information you send through the form is used to:

• respond to your request and schedule a conversation,
• provide any services you go on to hire me for, and
• keep the form free of spam and abuse.

I don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for their marketing.

A few trusted providers help run this site and only process information to provide their service:

• Cloudflare — DNS and security, including the Turnstile check on the consultation form, which may process technical information about your browser and device to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Amazon Web Services — hosting for this website and the server that stores form submissions. See AWS's privacy notice.
• Resend — delivers the email notification I receive when you submit the form. See Resend's privacy policy.

I may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of AnchorPoint IT or others.

This site links to other websites — for example, NetProbe downloads hosted on Google Drive, source code on GitHub, and client sites I've built. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.

Form submissions are kept as long as needed to respond to you and for normal business records. If you'd like yours deleted, just ask — see below.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information I hold about you at any time by emailing [email protected]. I'll respond within a reasonable time.

I use reasonable technical measures to protect the information I hold, including encrypted connections and restricted access to stored submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top of the page.
